Summary
We are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Engineer to join our team during the winter period as “Project Engineer”.
The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing a Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and will work closely with Crew, yard teams, and management to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance projects and vessel refits.
This position is ideal for someone with engineering experience in the yachting industry who is looking to take on a more dynamic and flexible role.
You will primarily be based along the South of France (with potential for other location), contributing to the maintenance and refit processes of our motor yachts (under 50 meters) during a period of 4-5 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) across the fleet.
- Oversee and coordinate refits, maintenance, and repairs during the winter season, ensuring timely completion.
- Liaise with shipyards, technicians, and suppliers to ensure quality work and adherence to schedules.
- Manage and organize documentation, reports, and schedules related to vessel maintenance.
- Stay onboard as required, working directly with crew and management teams to supervise maintenance activities.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in yachting as an Engineer, with hands-on experience in yacht maintenance, refits, or repairs.
- Experience with Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS).
- Fluent English
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in project management and maintenance software.
- Calm, organized, and highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in varying locations and environments.
- Willingness to stay onboard and share a cabin if needed.
