Summary
• 100m+ (Under 3000gt) Prestigious New Build are looking for rockstar 3rd/2nd Officer to join them in January 2025
• This is an amazing opportunity to join an exciting New build project due for Launch in Summer 2025 with an interesting Worldwide cruising itinerary upon launch
• The position will initially be as 3rd Officer during the build period on a full-time contract but will progress into a rotational time for time contract upon launch - there is also potential to step up over time providing you do a good job!
• They are looking for a diligent, organised officer with a good ability to problem solve and a good character and strong work ethic. Ideally you will have a blend of commercial and yachting background along with strong paperwork and bridge experience - minimum of 1+ years spent as 3rd officer onboard large yachts is required.
• The project is currently being overseen by longstanding crew from the owner’s previous yacht and you will be working closely alongside the Chief Officers onboard whilst the project ramps up over the next few months
• Due to the location of the build – Candidates based within Europe and surrounding are preferred as it is highly likely they will require a face to face interview with chosen candidates
• OOW 3000 required as min, Chief Mate 3000 preferred but not essential
• This position is open to both Male and Female candidates
• Package to be discussed during initial call but the salary range is extremely generous and depending on experience. Initially 45 days build contract and rolling into a time for time rotation upon launch which will be in the next 6-7 months. There may be an element of flexibility with periods working from home and the opportunity to take long weekends where possible. The interview process will likely include a face-to-face meeting at the yard with Captain and Chief Officer.
