Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand for a 50m+ yacht
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deckhand to join a great crew. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working on similar-sized vessels and be eager to take on their next challenge.
Requirements
Qualifications & certificates:
- Valid STCW and seafarers’ medical certificate with <6 months until expiring
- Yacht rating / Yacht Master to meet manning requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- B1B2 visa essential
- Ideally someone already in the US
Experience & skills
- 1 year experience on yachts in the 40-60m range
- Tender driving skills beneficial
- Deck maintenance skills a plus
Start date: ASAP
Location: Fort Lauderdale, USA
Salary: USD 3000
Leave: 38 days
