Summary

  • 100m+ World Cruising Private Motor yacht are looking for a 1st Officer to join them early mid-January 2025

 

  • Must hold Chief Mate Unlimited COC

 

  • Good opportunity for an experienced 2nd officer coming from larger yachts to step up to 1st Officer overseeing a bridge team of three officers

 

  • As 1st officer you will oversee the ISM, safety officer role along with being responsible for running drills, training crew and familiarisations. You will also be the Medical officer onboard and responsible for the medical equipment and training

 

  • The yacht does run a busy operational program, so you need to be hands on when it comes to guest interaction and accompanying guests ashore as the Medical officer ashore

 

  • The yacht is currently located in the Caribbean and will be heading towards the Med next year – further plans TBC

 

  • Experience with large tender lifting and crane operations would be advantageous

 

  • They are looking for motivated and driven officer who is keen to learn and work alongside a positive and supportive bridge team

 

  • On offer is an industry standard salary range including time for time (2:2), single cabin along with Bonus scheme which is paid out twice a year. Salary is DOE and open for negotiation. More details will be discussed during initial calls.
