ROTATIONAL ENGINEER POSITION AVAILABLE!
We are seeking an AMSA Class 3 engineer for a 40m, 314GT Australian-flagged Yacht.
About the role and yacht:
The 40m yacht offers luxury charters along the East Coast of Australia; the yacht is busy, so it will suit a hardworking and motivated Engineer looking to build sea time towards their MEC tickets. The position is on rotation and offers a flexible start date to find the perfect fit for the Yacht. The cabin is often shared with the first mate onboard. An excellent all-around knowledge of modern yacht systems is required. You will have shore support, and the captain also has excellent Engineering skills.
The yacht was built in 2007 but well-maintained, including a significant refit in 2023. Helping other departments ensure the smooth running of Charters is required.
There is a healthy maintenance budget in place.
The salary on offer is an annual package (DOE) + monthly return domestic flights.
Rotation: 6 weeks on/off.
Requirements:
- You must have work rights in Australia.
- Minimum Class 3 engineering qualification AMSA
- Strong ability to work in a dynamic team.
