Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 50m yacht
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 50m+ vessel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements
- C/E(MN) III 2 or Y2 or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role on yachts or commercial vessels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- AVIT/ETO knowledge a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: 1 February 2025
Location: Thailand
Salary: USD 9000-9500
Leave: Full Rotation
Vessel Program and itinerary: Private/Charter program
