We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and team-oriented deckhand to join a great crew. This role requires someone with experience and dedication to deliver high standards.The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, a positive attitude, and a readiness to integrate into our dynamic team.
This position requires at least one year of deckhand experience on yachts between 30m to 80m. Experience on sailboats would be an advantage, though it’s not essential. We value candidates who show a history of commitment to previous roles, as longevity in past positions is a plus. Good maintenance skills are essential, particularly in areas such as teak care, painting, and roll/tip techniques. The role also calls for a confident jet tender driver with strong guest service abilities and an understanding of guest etiquette.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual who embodies a team-player mentality and is ready to help out wherever needed. Additionally, this is a male-only position due to cabin arrangements. A valid B1/B2 visa is essential for this role.
Starting salary for this position is USD $3,250 during a 90-day probationary period, after which it will increase to USD $3,500 per month. The role offers 60 days of leave per year, and medical coverage is provided as per MLC guidelines. After 12 months of service, the candidate will be entitled to one round-trip flight for leave. Additional benefits include a 13th-month performance bonus and training incentives to support ongoing professional growth.
The yacht operates a dual-season itinerary, alternating between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, and has a major shipyard period scheduled for next year. Crew facilities include a three-berth cabin and a well-equipped gym, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive, welcoming team atmosphere.
