A private Dual-Season vessel is looking for a Temporary Second Officier, the duration of this position will be 2 months.
The vessel finishes a refit in the Netherlands then into an Atlantic crossing to Bahamas, where the owner's cruise will begin.
The candidate should have a good understanding of all Bridge and Ship Watchkeeping duties as well as all the up-to-date navigational procedures. They are a member of the deck team and will ensure that the Bosun is correctly lead in their deck duties and ably assisted to run the deck department on a daily basis.
Prior experience in this position would be beneficial as there is a combination of shipyard, crossing and owner's cruise. So needs to be adaptable as the two months will be challenging.
Due to the vessel’s itinerary, the candidate needs to have B1B2 visa in hand.
