We are assisting an UHNW family with the recruitment of an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join their household team on a permanent basis. Ideally from a yachting background, you will work as a sole housekeeper when the family are not in residence and will report to the House Manager, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained in this luxury property year-round.
Having a meticulous eye for detail, you will take pride in your work and have terrific knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and high-end finishes. Duties will include general and deep cleaning, occasional laundry and ironing, as well as assisting with wardrobe management when required. When the family are in residence you would be required to assist with service and front of house duties.
The ideal candidate will be a professional and well-presented team player with the ability to follow instructions yet must also be able to work independently with little supervision. The property is in use about three months of the year (mostly over the summer), so for the majority of the year the role will be focused on ensuring the house is guest-ready and well maintained.
When the family are not in residence, working hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, but greater flexibility will be required when the property is occupied.
