Requirements:
- Food & Hygiene Level II
- STCW + Refresher
- Designated Security Duty - PDSD
- Fit for duty (medical certificate)
- Covid vaccine + booster
Must already be proficient with housekeeping, laundry and service experience.
Other:
- Minimum 2 years of experience, all-rounder (HK, Laundry, Service)
- Silver service trained and practiced.
- Service experience and confidence around VIP guests is essential.
- Knowledge in Bartending/Cocktail mixing/Wines is a plus
- No large visible tattoo – small tattoos okay
- Lovely and cheerful personality. Positive, upbeat, adaptable attitude is a must
- Reachable references
- Charter experience is a bonus – understanding of what charter demands is key.
- Other essential skills in the Interior (flower arrangement, sewing, etc)
- Longevity is essential.
- The boat sometimes spends extended periods of time at sea and so must be happy with this.
- The boat spends 90% of time without guests and is run much more casually and the other 10% of the time will be spent with boss/events which is where the service/white boat experience is necessary.
- Please highlight that this is not a typical yachting stewardess role.
The role would suit someone with interest in ocean preservation and research. It would be perfect for someone who prefers a good work/life balance whilst they are onboard with time for things like reading/gym etc.
Occasionally, you will have the opportunity to be involved with the action itself, the chance to explore some of these remote locations and lot of wildlife.
