License Required: None needed.
Requirements: 2 years\' experience as a sole stew
US passport or green card
STCW
ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Experience on yachts

Job Specifics:
Sole steward/ess - child care experience with some cooking skills specially cooking basic breakfast and snacks for the kids. Cheese platters, charcuterie boards, etc. Basic cooking. Owners like to eat out and they hired a freelance chef for long trips and for guest. It runs with 3 full time crew, captain, mate, and sole stew.
Looking for a steward/ess who is willing to commit for more than 1 year.
Duties to include safety, keeping vessel clean and organized, service informal, prepare quick easy heat and serve appetizers, light cooking for two kids (kid friendly and experienced helpful). Informal and very nice family. Must be hard working, self-motivated, easy going, has a \"can do attitude\", polite, professional, able to adapt to change-assist in maintaining a long-standing program already in place.
Itinerary Summers bases in CT a quaint small town with a relaxed atmosphere away from the cities and cruise the NE waters and ports. Winters in Ft Lauderdale and Bahamas. Weekends and a and few 1-2wk trips throughout the year.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience - Paid on a 1099.
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
