As the bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in supporting all financial matters within the business, contributing to its ongoing success and stability. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a drive to be part of an exciting growth story.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable and general ledger entries. Your key duties will involve preparing and processing invoices and payments and managing payroll while reconciling bank statements to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. You will assist in preparing financial statements and reports, monitor cash flow, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities. Compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards is essential in this role. Additionally, you will collaborate with the existing team to gather financial data and insights to facilitate informed decision-making. Ongoing professional development through training programs to enhance your accounting knowledge and skills is encouraged, and you may also support ad-hoc financial projects as required by the CEO.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring you to attend the elegant offices in Mayfair 2-3 days per week, with flexibility in choosing your preferred working days.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, with strong accountancy skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential
• Candidates currently in training or pursuing relevant qualifications may also be considered; flexibility will be provided in such cases
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks
