Seeking a skilled and motivated Sole Engineer to join a Fort Lauderdale-based operation.
This full-time position is perfect for a candidate looking for a stable yet dynamic role, balancing engineering expertise with occasional deck support during guest trips.
Candidates may live onboard or ashore, based on preference.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain all engineering systems on the vessel, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Assist with deck operations, including guest service and exterior duties, during trips.
- Actively support docking and maneuvering procedures.
Schedule: Includes one weekly night watch.
Pay: Competitive, DOE
Eligibility: Open to all nationalities; AEC1 and AEC2 certifications are required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as an Engineer with additional deck skills.
- AEC1 and AEC2 certifications are mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs.
- MUST have previous longevity aboard one vessel of at least 1 year
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
