Chief Engineer in United States

Summary

Northern European build, Llyods Class, this Yacht is currently in the USA finishing off a shipyard before shipping back to the Mediterranean for the 2025 season.

Looking for a Chief Unlimited CoC, the cabin will be shared and is open to male candidates only for this reason.

Start date of Feb 10^th, you will require B1B2 Visa and Schengen Visa’s as applicable.

CAT Main Engines (rebuilt 2022), Northern Lights Generators (rebuilt 2024), Quantum Stabilisers. The yacht has undergone refits several times, most recently in 2022. It runs with mini-ISM and has a PMS in place.

The Yacht is looking for an experienced Chief with at least 4-5 years in similar roles (Longevity is highly desired), good written and verbal communication, Excellent AV/IT knowledge with a well presented and professional disposition. Solid, checkable references required.

Both private and Charter use, knowledge of Mediterranean suppliers and contractors is required, the Yacht will base out of the eastern Mediterranean.

Annual Leave of 60 days..

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Chief Engineer (Unlimited)/ Class 1

Engineering Modules & Short Courses (or equivalent)

• Caterpillar Series - Approved Operator Course
