HMG is looking for a 2nd Engineer role on a world cruising 50m, 500GT + motor yacht.
Joining in Spain, where they are currently in the shipyard preparing for the Med season of 2025.
Very experienced and knowledgeable Chief on board who is looking for Y4/EOOW level 2nd Engineer to take over from their current one who is stepping ashore and undertaking courses to advance their licence.
Shared cabin with the Chief Engineer, 45 days leave per year and salary of $5500-$6500 USD, DOE.
Male applicants only due to cabin arrangements, the role would suit commercial Engineers looking for their first yacht job.
You must have good hands-on experience and be able to use hand tools and assist the Chief in planed and unplanned maintenance. Good eye for detail and ability to work cleanly is required. Calm, responsible people with good, checkable references only.
Northern European built Yacht, Llyods Class, this is an older vessel with good history, it is a good opportunity to advance licencing and sea time.
