The position of Boatyard Operative has become available at Gosport Marina’s specialist boatyard, Endeavour Quay. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual, with a positive, hardworking attitude to join a team within a busy boatyard in a great location in Portsmouth Harbour.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Knowledge and experience working within a boatyard environmentAbility to understand and deliver excellent customer serviceFlexibility and adaptability to both boatyard and marina operationsAbility to learn and use computer software systems“A can do” attitude and flexible approach to teamworkThis role includes working outdoors in all weathers and includes working some weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota. Previous experience of plant operation and boat handling would be a major advantage but training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential. A full driving licence is essential.
