Summary
Seeking an experienced rotational Y3 Engineer for a private 50m M/Y.
The position is a sole role, with rotation, 7 days a week for 10 weeks.
A day off here and there is allowed but the status and location of vessel must be considered and always cleared with the Captain.
This is not a desk job spent staring at a computer screen, this is hands on engineering, maintenance, and cleaning.
Must have solid knowledge of planned maintenance (Triton, Idea, etc.) inventory control, management and administration of engineering department.
Must be organized and understand the hand over to the incoming engineer avoids conflict and does not result in the counterpart’s time wasted with sorting out poorly maintained records, inventory and PMS oversights.
Be able to work with Management, Flag and Class on relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
Confident with budget and scheduling of vendors for yard periods, working with Captain and Chief Officer on priorities for the vessel and owner.

B/1/B/2 visa in hand, ENG1, All certificates and licenses up to date with time remaining on them.
Y3 ticket or equivalent is required. Cayman flagged vessel
Salary: $9250 - $9.750 DOE. (90-day probation)
Start: 3/15- Bahamas as a temp position. Full time contracts kicks in the day the current engineer signs off to ensure balance of 10 on, 10 off.
This allows for a 2-week operational mode hand over. The current engineer is expected to sign off on the 1st of April.
Vessel goes into shipyard (FLL) on the 7th of April, comes out around end of May.
NE for the summer, starting in Charleston on the 13th of June.
