Summary
FIRST MATE required onboard a 44m Sailing Catamaran in Tahiti.
A 40m+ charter and private sailing yacht currently in the South Pacific is seeking a competent First Mate to join their crew of 10.
This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced sailor to work onboard a yacht with a great crew known for their longevity and exciting itinerary packed with diving and off-the-beaten-track sailing.
The ideal candidate will hold their Yacht Master Offshore, OOW500, and have relevant experience on similar sized vessels.
This hands-on role requires a competent sailor who is eager to spend time on deck (~30%) and is capable of leading by example. Must be physically fit and have strong organisation skills.
- Permanent role
- Start End of February.
- Joining location: Tahiti, French Polynesia
- Itinerary: South Pacific onward to the Med for a likely busy charter season ahead
- Salary & Package: 5000-6000 euros per month DOE, 38 days leave
- Open to male or female candidates; must be willing to share a cabin with a male crew member.
