Summary
MYyachtcrew was asked to recruit for a SECOND OFFICER onboard a 74m Dutch built yacht.
Itinerary: Florida, UK, and possibly Holland for summer, Florida/Caribbean for winter
All nationalities can be considered, but candidates already in the States will get preference
Start date: ASAP, latest in 2 or 3 weeks
You need to have or be:
-Valid STCW, ENG1 and B1B2 if needed
-OOW CoC
-3-4 years experience onboard similar sized vessels.
-Bridge watch keeping experience essential
-Excellent tender driving skills.
-Raytheon ECDIS Certified would help, but not mandatory.
-Bosun’s / Junior Officers experience
-Experience carrying out safety checks
-Longevity and willingness to commit is rewarded. Without longevity you won’t make it to my shortlist for this one. Sorry
-Great references as they will all get checked!
On offer:
-60 Days leave per year (increased to 90 days in second year)
-Flight allowance paid out at completion of 12 months
-Lots of sea time and lots of bridge watchkeeping & passage planning
-Will promote from within
For this very well run super yacht, we are after candidates with great common sense.
Must have an outgoing personality, be well presented, a positive and hard working personality who can also follow instruction.
