Summary
MYyachtcrew was asked to recruit for a DECKHAND onboard a 74m Dutch built yacht.
Itinerary: Florida, UK, and possibly Holland for summer, Florida/Caribbean for winter
All nationalities can be considered, but candidates already in the States will get preference
Start date: ASAP, latest in 2 or 3 weeks
You need to have or be:
-Valid STCW, ENG1, PBL2 (or better) and B1B2 if needed
-Needs 1 season to one year yacht experience as you are not the greenest onboard and they want to build a strong team.
-All other deck related courses are a welcome bonus and so are fishing experience diving experience and all water sports
-Keen to learn more and show initiative
-Longevity and willingness to commit is rewarded
-Great references as they will all get checked!
On offer:
-60 Days leave per year (increased to 90 days in second year)
-Flight allowance paid out at completion of 12 months
-Lots of sea time and lots of bridge watchkeeping & passage planning
-Will promote from within
For this very well run super yacht, we are after candidates with great common sense.
Must have an outgoing personality, be well presented, a positive and hard working personality who can also follow instruction.
