Burgess recruitment is urgently seeking a Deckhand for a 60m+ yacht
We are recruiting a motivated deckhand to join a Mediterranean based vessel with Chaseboat and Helicopter operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.
Requirements + Responsibilities
- Yachtmaster certification
- STCW and ENG1
- Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
- Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
- Reporting to the bosun for daily tasks
- Proactive mindset
- Great product knowledge
Start date: 1st week of March
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 2850 DOE
Leave: 60 days
Med based, private vessel
