Summary

Position: SOLE CHEF

Yacht: 40m Motor Yacht – Private/Charter  

JOB ID: 1582769 

Location: Bahamas, US 

Start Date: Soon 

Itinerary:  Bahamas, US  

License Required: Culinary trained charter chef. 

Requirements:   

Light Charter experience

STCW + Refresher

Food hygiene/safety

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport valid 1 year

 

VISA: B1/B2 visa, Schengen if needed for Caribbean. 

Background check and drug testing may apply. 

 

Other Requirements: Charter experience and restaurant background a plus. Good provisioning, charter quality plating, varied menu, clean galley practices. 

Good communicator. Easy going nature. Enjoys life. Happy to cook for crew.

Ideally light social drinking. Someone that is more into health and fitness would be a great addition.

A good mentor to the crew. 

Responsibilities: Galley, cooking heathy meals, minor allergies onboard  

Commercial Registered Yacht: under 500gt
