Requirements:
- STCW + Refresher as needed
- ENG1 / Marine Medical - Fit for duty (valid 6 mos. +)
- Food Safety/hygiene
- B1B2 visa, or equivalent
- STRONG - Experience on similar sized vessels, creative table settings, service skills, cocktails/bartending, beach set-ups, provisioning.
- Longevity a great plus
Responsibilities: In charge of interior, service, housekeeping, laundry, provisioning, beach set ups, cocktails.
The individual must be self-motivated, very clean, trustworthy and flexible, work well with others, be a good listener and team player. Good interior skills. Someone that truly loves working on yachts.
Someone that loves kids, this is not a nanny job but must be aware that there will be kids around the boat.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of interior services to the highest standards.
- Ensure a warm, welcoming, and personable atmosphere for the private family and future charters guest.
Other: Good social skills, well spoken. Great eye for detail.
Family use, the owners have kids, and they enjoy anchor the boat and relax, some watersports, jet skis, beach set ups. Hands on family, very respectful with the crew. They are building a charter program, no charters yet.
It runs with 5 full time crew, captain, 1st mate, chief stew, cook/stew and deckhand. They will hire a chef for longer trips or charters.
The boat is currently in the shipyard and there is a 1-week trip planned around Mid-April with the family. After the trip they will be back in the yard to do some repairs.
Job Specifics: Preferences are to be located in the US, Caribbean or Bahamas.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. TBD
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
Commercial Registered Yacht: yes, under 500 gt.
