Chief Engineer in United States

Summary

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 45m+ Private M/Y.

-Permanent position to start ASAP in Fort Lauderdale.

-US Citizens or Green Card Holders only!

-Itinerary: The vessel spends 90% of the time in Fort Lauderdale with trips to the Bahamas (will suit someone that lives in FLL).

-The ideal candidate will have a Y3 in hand with a Cayman Island Endorsement.

-Preferably have completed the MTU2000 series course.

-Should be a hands on Engineer that is organised and can lead a 2nd Engineer.

-Should be fluent in English.

-Non smoking vessel.

-Total of 10 crew onboard.

Salary DOE with a standard MLC SEA.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)

Engineering Modules & Short Courses (or equivalent)

• MTU 2000 Series - Approved Operator Course
