Contract: Full-Time | Galley Team: Head Chef & Sous Chef
We are looking for a talented and creative Sous Chef to join a 63m private yacht with an owner who values high standards, longevity, and a close-knit crew environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef looking to step into a high-end program with excellent work-life balance.
The Role:
• Assisting the Head Chef with all guest and crew meals. Mainly responsible to cook for up to 16 crew.
• Flexibility to take the lead in the galley when the boss is off planning crew meals & cooking for the crew.
• Crew meals should be varied, nutritious, and well-balanced. Some dietary requirements onboard: Gluten free & Vegetarian.
The Right Candidate:
• Some yacht experience as a Sous Chef on a similar-sized vessel or as a Sole Chef on a smaller vessel.
• Positive, adaptable, and able to assist the Head Chef
• Excellent organisation and provisioning skills. Able to keep a clean and tidy galley, fridges and stores
• Culinary training or professional restaurant background essential.
