Summary
An experienced, eager, active, and skilled rotational Deckhand (Able Seaman) is required for a MY 100m+ vessel based in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience on a vessel larger than 60 meters and should have all the professional skills to join a professional deck team, adding to the existing diverse skill range onboard. Candidates must be willing to commit to a minimum of 12-18 months onboard, and additional skills in diving, watersports, and all-round deck maintenance experience will be very well received.
This role starts March 24th, 2025 so it is not long before you need to fly to the vessel.
Job Specification
- Navigatoinal watchkeeping A-II/4 or equivalent CoC
- Valid Seamn's Book
- Valid Passport
- Valid Basic Training A-VI/1 to 1-4
- Valid ENG 1 Medical without restrictions
- Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) or Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- COVID Vaccination certificate (with booster preferably)
- Crowd Management certificate
- Any and all additional certificates welcomed and will give you an advantage
- No tattoos, Non-smoker
- Must we willing to take a drug and alcohol test
- Must provide valid written references
- Proficiency in Survval Craft and Rescue Boats, other than fast Rescue Boats A-VI/2-1
- Advanced Fire FIghting A-VI/3-1
