Summary
We are looking for a Second Engineer to join a 60m private motor yacht. It is a busy one season vessel, currently based in Turkey. A well-managed yacht with a healthy crew culture. You should ideally hold a Y3 or SV Second Engineer with Crestron / Omniyon experience as advantageous. You will have already gained a knowledge of VM’s, networks and communications with the ability to learn and develop with new systems. A good electrical knowledge preferred as small team so required to fault find and diagnose. You will assist the Chief engineer as required with all yacht maintenance. A good technical base is required. Both the Chief Engineers are happy to help you develop whilst onboard. The position will require for you to interact with guests on a daily basis so you need to be comfortable talking with the owner and confident in their position aboard. There will be a mix of roles onboard, with watch keeping duties. The ideal candidate should be available by 12th April. The package on offer is Euro 5,500 with 60 days leave.
