LIVE-OUT LAND-BASED STEWARDESS/HOUSEKEEPER FOR UHNW FAMILY IN LONDON

A busy UHNW family located in Central London is looking to recruit an experienced live-out land-based Stewardess/Housekeeper to assist them in the smooth running of their beautiful family home. Working as part of a small housekeeping team, you will be an effective time manager with an exceptional eye for detail and very high standards, keeping the family’s home in pristine condition. The role will require a variety of duties and responsibilities including all general and deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, so an all-rounder with a can-do attitude is essential for this role.
Working as part of a fully staffed household, the family are looking to employ a positive team player with a kind and caring attitude – the ideal candidate will be personable, enthusiastic, energetic, and confident, able to easily interact with the family and fellow employees alike. Further responsibilities will include informal table service, drinks service, and maintaining inventories of household supplies. A background in the super yachting industry is highly desired, but not essential for this role.
Covering rotating shifts, you will either work 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm or 11am-8pm from Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required at times to work an extra day per week, which will be paid as overtime. A live-out role, candidates have to be based within an easily commutable distance from Regent’s Park, and have proven longevity in prior roles. There are children in the home, though no child care duties will be required.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• General cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and dining/lounge areas
• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate fabrics and couture garments
• Care of artwork, silver, antiques, and other items/furniture with fine finishes
• Wardrobe management; packing and unpacking for trips and holidays
• Managing stocks of household supplies; keeping inventories up to date
• Flower arranging
• Serving food and drinks
• Light cooking (desired, but not essential) to provide cover for Chef’s days off
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience on a super yacht or private household
• Good knowledge of cleaning products and ability to care for high-end furnishings and fabrics
• Excellent laundry & ironing skills
