2nd Engineer in Netherlands

Summary

We are now recruiting for a rotational 2nd #ENGINEER to join a 60m+ Private/Charter New Build (soon to be launched) M/Y | Start Date: 1st May | Rotation (2:2)

Must have an SV 2nd Engineer as a minimum or equivalent in hand;

AV/IT knowledge is advantageous as well as experience with MTU engines;

An engineer background prior to entering the industry is preferred; 

Must be a hardworking team player and assist in all aspects of engineering under the chief engineers direction;

Must have excellent problem-solving skills, great attention to detail, a positive attitude and eagerness to learn;

Strong references.

LOA: 60m+

Type: Private/Charter M/Y

Itinerary: Dual Season (including off the beaten track)

Monthly Salary: 6,000-8,000 EUR DOE

Contract Type: Rotational (2:2)

Start Date: 1st May

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
