Seasonal Deckhand/Engineer – Private 24m M/Y
We looking for a hands-on, seasonal Deckhand/Engineer to join their team. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone with solid deck skills and basic engineering knowledge. The yacht is privately owned and used for family cruising in the Mediterranean.
Candidates in Europe will have priority
Start date: first week of April to end October 2025
Itinerary: Western Mediterranean – France, Italy
Package: Salary in Euros, seasonal contract with standard leave
Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 1 year’s experience on yachts in a similar dual role
• Confident with exterior maintenance and line handling
• Basic troubleshooting and upkeep of engine room systems
• Good all-rounder with a proactive attitude
• Able to work independently with strong initiative
Qualifications required:
• AEC preferred or basic engineering certification
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Seamans' Discharge Book
