2nd Engineer in Italy

Summary

We are now recruiting for a permanent 2^nd Engineer to join a 52 meter busy charter yacht. Male due to accommodation

Start date: Soonest possible

Must have a keen interest in Engineering side and AV/IT. This is a “Hands-on” position.

The position is 100% in the engine department during winter and with minimal assistance to the deck department during charter season

Ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in the same role. For the right person, with the right certificate, the possibility to advance to C/E is a possibility.

The yacht is MED based and this winter will be in Italy.

Fluent in English.

LOA: 52 meter Dutch build

MTU M/Es and D/Gs

Position: Permanent

Salary: 6500€ / month

Vacation: 42 days a year

Crew: 12 persons

Essential qualifications:

Visas: Must have Schengen visa (or EU resident)

·          Drivers license

·          STCW BST

·          ENG 1 (Medical certificate)

·          STCW RIII/2 (Minimum)

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
