3rd Stewardess - Start Date: Mid-April 2025
We are a private, world-cruising 74m M/Y seeking an experienced, strong 3rd Stewardess to join our close-knit crew.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Stewardess & 2nd Stewardess to guide and train the junior stews. We are looking for an all-rounder as the role is about 60% Housekeeping and 40% Service when guest on.
We are looking for a candidate who is strong and passionate about both housekeeping and service, the role entails being on breakfast (early stew) and so service knowledge is essential. This is a great role for someone looking for more responsibility but not quite ready for a 2nd Stewardess role just yet.
The 3rd Stew will be in charge of uniform, so some experience with uniform would be highly beneficial.
Crew Overview:
- Crew Size: 19 crew members onboard at any given time.
- Interior Team: 6 crew members, fostering a strong team dynamic and long-term collaboration.
- Crew Culture: Our team is close-knit and enjoys socializing during excursions and crew events. We’re looking for someone who thrives in this collaborative environment.
Duties:
- Assisting with managing housekeeping - overseeing standards and ensuring the team is meeting the set standards.
- In charge of uniform - issuing, inventory and maintaining standards. This is a large responsibility and we require someone who is confident with inventories and uniform.
- During ‘boss off’ mode, the interior team rotates through various areas (crew, bridge, laundry) for skill development and variety.
- Assist with beach BBQs and beach service as needed.
- The owners are typically onboard for 2-3 weeks, with trips spread out.
- World cruising to remote locations with exciting itineraries.
Package:
- Start Date: Expected mid-April.
- Leave: 60 days per year, with flexibility for off dates.
- Travel: 2 return flights per year to your repatriation address.
- Medical Insurance: Provided.
- Salary: DOE - paid in euros.
Requirements:
- Gender: Female due to cabin arrangements.
- Experience: Previous experience as an experienced Stewardess on a similar-sized vessel is ideal (with at least 2-3 years in the industry).
- Leadership & Management: Must have experience leading a team and maintaining a positive, effective leadership approach.
- World Travel: Comfortable with a world-traveling vessel and no permanent home berth.
