Summary
We are looking for a Captain for a new build 73ft Cat. The vessel will be launched in August 2025 with a very exciting worldwide itinerary, starting with the Norwegian Fjords over winter and then meditation summer before heading to South Africa.
The owners are wanting to find someone with a friendly approachable personality as they plan to use the vessel at least once a month and want to create a family environment on board.
You will need to have been an experienced Captain previously ideally for 5 years as a minimum with experience in various locations. Strong maintenance skills and engine knowledge will be required due to the itinerary.
Shoreside accommodation will be provided near the shipyard until the vessel has launched
Experience & Qualifications
· Yachtmaster Ocean
· AEC 1 & 2
· 5 years as a Captain
· Shipyard experience or newbuild experience would be a plus
