Summary
CAPTAIN AND STEWARDESS TEAM - End of April/beginning of May to end of October
YM Offshore or higher, as well as full driving licence held for more than 3 years, STCW and all other usual certificates in hand and in date for the period April to November 2025.
18m RIVA, family day boat and guest accommodation for the summer season, part of a fleet of 4 yachts (see below)
Seasonal position with potential for winter retainer & pro-rata winter work
Private vessel, no charter
2 double guest cabins
2 crew cabins
Responsibilities/Requirements:
Responsible for ensuring the yacht is maintained & meets safety requirements
Ability to fault find, diagnose & liaise with contractors to repair
Build positive working relationships with local contractors
Ability to work in a team / live in shared accommodation
Advantageous if keen to commit for future seasons
Interest in sailing but not essential
Non smoker | no visible tattoos
Fluent English required, French would be a bonus
Full communication with the Owner on large maintenance tasks, schedule, cruising routes.
Shore support
- All hands-on deck approach needed
- Ad hoc driving – crew & guests
- Tender driving at regattas where the yacht hasn't been taken / used for accommodation
- Coordinating plans with other captains within the fleet
- Opportunity to join the sailboat to support race crew if needed / if captain wants to help
