Seeking an experienced and well presented Captain for a foreign flagged 40m established, reputable charter program.
ASAP start in South FL - leaving for St. Thomas mid April, for a charter beginning on April 25th.
If the right permanent fit hasn't been found in time to depart for the charter, they'll open it up to freelance candidates while continuing to look for someone permanent.
Yacht has just splashed after a shipyard period and the outgoing Captain will stay on for handover.

Requirements:
500 ton minimum
Previous charter experience on similar sized programs with positive references
English as a first language
Looking for someone who can jump in and hit the ground running as this is an active charter yacht with bookings through July/August. Owner usage is infrequent and the plan is to keep the focus on this being a charter program, however the owner is looking for a Captain to establish a long term relationship with.
Owner and management are happy to offer rotation if desired by the incoming Captain.
Starting salary $14,000-17,000 DOE
Current leave package for full-time Captain is 60 days
