Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an experienced deckhand for a 65m yacht
You will be responsible for maintaining the exterior of the yacht to the highest standards, assisting with docking and undocking procedures, tender operations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the vessel. You will work closely with a professional and dynamic crew, where teamwork and communication are key.
Requirements + Responsibilities
- YachtMaster Offshore essential
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role + similar sized vessel
- B1/B2 Visa Essential
- STCW, PDSD, ENG1certificates in hand
- Exterior maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and detailing
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and watch duties
- Supporting the team in all aspects of daily yacht operations
- Proactive and positive mindset
Start date: 30 April
Location: Bahamas/Florida
Salary: USD 3750 (+annual bonus)
Leave: 3:1 rotation

Vessel and itinerary – Private/Charter currently in the US/Caribbean- world travelling vessel.
