MYyachtcrew is actively seeking an experienced BOSUN for a stunning 60m sailing yacht
Itinerary: Finishing off a 10year refit in the yard and then a Mediterranean season starting in July followed by a Caribbean season where they will participate in the 2026 st Barth’s Bucket race
Location: Italy
Start date: Mid April
The yacht is private but could go commercial easily
Requirements:
-Valid and up to date STCW, ENG1, PBL2 and visa if needed
-1 to 2 years as Bosun, or lead deckhand on larger yacht.
-Yacht Master Offshore (commercially endorsed) ideally on your way to OOW (have some modules completed already).
-Additional skills such as kite boarding instructor, dive instructor/master, competent eFoiler, favoured due to the owner’s active program. Kite surf instructors would be on top of our list.
-Key criteria includes: broad maintenance skills and product knowledge, plus being extremely well organised, as you will assist the chief officer in leading the deck team.
-This yacht has a great crew who have mostly been onboard for many years and they look for someone with the same mind set. No boat hopper
-Must have great checkable references to support your application
On offer:
Salary: DOE (discussed during interview)
Permanent Contract (not rotational): MLC compliant with 40 days leave
