Rotational Class 3 Engineer – Commercial 50m+ M/V

Great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Engineer seeking a rotational role based in Australia! 

Start:                 April 2025

Location:           Northern Territory, Australia

Package:            Rotational 4 Weeks on: 4 Weeks off 

**Only Australian Residents, or those with Legal working rights for Australia need apply, with FIFO agreements from all Australian major Airports **

Experience and attributes required:

·       2 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on vessels 40m+

·       Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills essential

·       Must be a hands’ on and proactive engineer who is knowledgeable in all engineering and maintenance duties aboard

·       Possess the ability to delegate to a 2^nd Engineer with a diplomatic and motivational approach 

Qualifications required:

·       Class 3 Engineering CoC (also Seeking MED1 Engineers)

·       Seafarer's Medical Certificate ENG1 (valid minimum 6 months)

·       STCW (Fully updated) with PDSD

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
