Able Seaman (AB) – 30m Commercial HSC
Döhle Yachts are looking to recruit 2 x Able Seamen (AB) for a commercial High Speed Passenger Vessel within our fleet. This is a 2-month fixed contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidates will assist in the overall operation and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Location: Channel Islands
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of deck equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Support the deck crew in daily operations and maintenance tasks.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the deck and living areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience on passenger vessels is a plus but not essential.
- Must hold an EU or EAA passport as candidates will be living ashore.
- Possession of PSCRB (Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats).
- Crowd Management and Human Behaviour certification would be ideal.
