This well-maintained 70ft private motor yacht operates out of Jupiter, FL with primarily local and seasonal cruising in South Florida and the Bahamas. The program is private only (no charters), with a hands-on, easygoing owner who values professionalism, discretion, and a can-do attitude.
???? Captain Responsibilities:
- Overall operation and maintenance of the yacht
- Voyage planning, navigation, and safe vessel operation
- Oversight of mechanical and systems upkeep, scheduling maintenance
- Coordinating with contractors, marina personnel, and provisioning
- Managing budgets and reporting to the owner
- Ensuring compliance with all local and international maritime regulations
Requirements:
- USCG 100 Ton License (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical/technical skills preferred
- Experience cruising the Bahamas and South Florida
- Organized, safety-conscious, and self-sufficient
- Clean background, drug-free, and non-smoking
- Team-oriented and respectful communicator

- Interior upkeep, provisioning, and guest service
- Moderate cooking – fresh, healthy meals preferred

- Prior experience in similar yacht stew or chef roles
- Culinary background a plus (but not essential if competent cook)
