This is a world-class lodge and private estate in the Bay of Islands, set on 1,000 acres of breathtaking coastal property. We’re looking for a hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead a close-knit, positive team and uphold the exceptional standards our guests expect — with a strong focus on team culture and collaboration.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Residences Manager. Start date is flexible, but immediate availability is a bonus.
You’ll be responsible for leading a team across The Landing’s luxury residences, winery, and staff areas — ensuring every space is guest-ready and managed with precision.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage daily housekeeping operations including laundry, inventory, and guest presentation
* Lead morning team briefings and allocate duties clearly and calmly
* Handle rosters, inventories, and supplies efficiently
* Support the Residences Manager with planning and reporting
* Maintain exceptional standards across all guest and back-of-house areas
Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from both:
Experienced stews, pursers, or interior managers from the yachting or luxury lodge world
OR
Emerging hospitality professionals with strong admin skills, an excellent work ethic, and some exposure to high-end service — ready to grow into the role with mentorship
