Summary
We are looking for a Bosun to join a busy 60m Private and Charter Expedition Vessel that travels off the beaten path. We need someone experienced on vessels 50-60m+ who can help can help manage the day to day duties with the 2nd Officer.
The ideal candidate must be an experienced tender driver, the vessel has 5 tenders onboard up to 13m, jet, stern drive & outboard. Someone who is not afraid of hard work, motivated, organised, with a strong eye for detail, able to lead well by example, & can teach/share knowledge with the deck crew.
Candidates with Sail, Dive, Kite board or Fishing skills would have a huge advantage over other candidates. Yacht master minimum, some modules towards OOW preferred. Willing to consider Lead Deckhands from similar or larger vessels who are looking to step up.
The vessel has an exciting itinerary - US East Coast, Central America, Patagonia and US West Coast.
