Experienced male 2nd Steward required for 75m private yacht
We are presently recruiting for a full time experienced 2nd Steward/Service Steward for a 75m private motor yacht.
This is a single season cruising, Mediterranean based, private use only yacht and joining a team of 6 in total in the interior. 3 in service, 3 housekeepers
Full time position, non rotation
Candidates must have excellent service skills and be confident in relevant interior administration.
The yacht is based out of Barcelona from April until late September/October and cruises the western Mediterranean in summer. It is based in Malta for the winter.
British captain and multinational crew who have a good working dynamic and great camaraderie.
To be considered for the role, candidates must have longevity in rank, have excellent service skills and solid administration experience. A genuine team player and one who can bring a ‘can do attitude’ and positivity to the team.
The ideal candidate will have a professional work ethic, great organisational skills and have the ability to support the Chief Steward.
Candidates must pay attention to details with the ability to multi task and keep calm under pressure. This position will suit an outgoing and confident candidate seeking longevity.
Immediate start is preferred
Excellent verifiable references essential. No visible tattoos.
Job continuity essential
Certificates required as minimum;
All STCW in date.
Valid ENG 1/Seafarers Medical certificate.
Food Hygiene Level II.
PDSD certificate is required.
A good level of English language is essential.
Driving license is highly desirable

38 days per year leave with the option to take further unpaid leave subject to the yacht cruising itinerary.
Training fund of $2,500 per year after 1 year of employment
Flight allowance of $1,500 per year after 1 year of employment.

Annual bonus at owners discretion
Start date: Immediate preferred and joining the yacht in Malta.
Please note that we can only consider male candidates for this position due to the cabin arrangements onboard.
No couples, no vaping, is a dry boat.
