FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER, BEL AIR, CA (90049)
A formal household in Bel Air, CA seeks a full-time Housekeeper to join their household staff. The candidate must be comfortable around the beloved family pets (2 small dogs), and watch them when the principals are traveling.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, experienced in caring for luxury homes, and comfortable working weekends as part of the schedule. Local candidates only, no relocation will be offered
Responsibilities
- Provide both white-glove and informal service to ensure the meticulous upkeep of a private estate
- Clean all areas of the home
- Handle laundry tasks, including ironing fine bed linens
- Organize efficiently
- Assist with kitchen set up and cleanup after meal service
- Assist with pet care including feeding, walking and pet sitting
- Assist with events hosted at the home
- Work effectively with the existing team of domestic workers and housekeepers
Qualifications
- Proven success in maintaining and cleaning large residences/estates, or luxury hotels
- Learn quickly and pay close attention to detail
- Possess a respectful, careful nature when handling valuable belongings
- Demonstrate ability to perform job duties effectively and efficiently
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks wisely
- Professional and conservative appearance with good hygiene
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal
- Experience working for high-net-worth families and longevity in past positions
- Must love dogs and not have any pet allergies
Location: Bel Air, CA (90049)
Schedule: Approximately 32 hours/week. Thursday-Sunday. Sunday/Monday, 7:30am-4:00pm and Wednesday-Saturday, 3:30pm-9:30pm, off Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Compensation: $35-40/hour (DOE). Two-weeks paid vacation, benefit stipend.
