Directors
From operational directors to chairman, directors hold some of the top jobs in the yacht industry, and are ultimately responsible for their respective teams and making sure that everything runs as it should. Directors will be expected to play a major role in the success and development of the yacht business and require great communication skills as they oversee and communicate with their team, handle any problems that may arise and liaise with directors in other departments.
Director’s jobs within the yacht industry comprise of roles in different departments including financial and technical, creative and marketing, yacht sales and crew training to name a few. Directors are responsible for the day to day leadership of their staff and for developing talent and people to ensure the smooth running of the team.

Requirements
The requirements for director roles differ depending on the department, but applicants must have a proven track record of success in senior management roles, have experience in planning, managing and implementing change, all while being able to stay calm under pressure.
Applicants will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategic plans, delegating tasks to key staff members and coming up with plans moving forward, so good organisation and communication skills are also required.
