This Level 2 food safety course is run at night, to suit US / Canada / AUS / NZ time zones. Other course times are available to suit other time zones.
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety is suitable for all food handlers and is MCA approved.
This food hygiene course is suitable for all yacht crew, including chefs and stews.
It is a one-day face to face course, delivered remotely on Zoom.
Complete the course on Zoom and do the exam online with a remote invigilation app. Same day results.
The exam must be booked with Highfield three working days before the exam date. If this course is booked within 3 days of the course start date, the exam will be booked for a later date. (Exam times are available from Monday – Friday from 9am – 4pm UK time. It only takes a maximum of 45 minutes to complete. If you are booking within 3 days of the course start date, we will email you to confirm a suitable time to do the exam).
Course Structure
A pre-course workbook is completed prior to the course on Zoom. The live Zoom webinar covers the course syllabus, with chance to ask questions, look at sample exam questions, videos, and real-life case studies. All tutors are qualified environmental health practitioners with a background in the food industry.
This course is run from 10.00pm - 3.00am UK time. Exam completed the next day between 9.00am - 4.00pm UK time online using a remote invigilation app.
We have a range of course start times; we also have daytime, evening and weekend courses.

Useful Information
The course workbook and course PowerPoint slides are available to download from the online event page. The event page also contains some videos and instructions which explain how to set up for remote invigilation.
To complete the training remotely, each candidate needs; a pc or laptop with webcam, a smartphone, a reasonable internet connection and a quiet area to complete the exam online in exam conditions.
