G.U.E.S.T/ IAMI Foundation Leadership (unit 17)

This course targets heads of departments and/or senior positions onboard emphasizing their crucial role in leading individuals and teams within their departments. The Foundation Leadership Module is specifically designed to address the challenges faced by those transitioning into HoD positions. Participants will learn essential skills such as motivating individuals and teams, effective communication, performance management, resource management principles, and conflict resolution.

Offered in both online Zoom live sessions and in-person classes in Barcelona, this module provides flexibility and accessibility for professionals seeking to enhance their leadership capabilities.

1.Leadership Styles and Motivation:

• Explore essential leadership skills and practical implementation.
• Learn effective motivation techniques for the workplace.
• Enhance team performance and management.

2.Human Resources Tools and Application:

• Develop skills in performance management and team support.
• Learn to set SMART goals and objectives.
• Understand stress management and resource principles.

3.Communication and Conflict Resolution:

• Discover tools for effective communication with teams.
• Learn conflict management strategies and resolutions.

• Fluent in English
• Minimum age 18.

Assessment Process:

• Demonstrate skills practically.
• Complete final exam and assignments for assessment.

• A 40% payment will be made in advance for booking reservations
• The remaining amount must be transferred 4 days before the module starts. Instructions will be provided.
