RYA Competent Crew

UKSA's Competent Crew course is an ideal introduction for beginners who want to become active and useful crew members. The course introduces the fundamentals of sailing a moderate-size cruising yacht. During the course you will cover approximately 100 miles, including four night hours on watch. Course Structure

UKSA offers a consecutive 5 day course, or the option of taking this course over three weekends by attending three RYA Start Yachting courses. If you decide to take the RYA Competent Crew course over three weekends, UKSA recommends that you complete all three training weekends within a period of six months.
