RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship

What is it?                         

An entry level course on navigation and keeping safe in dinghies, powerboats and small yachts. It includes the elements of navigation to consider when planning a trip and what to expect when afloat. Important safety information – such as awareness of tides, anchoring, weather forecasts and buoyage – are covered.

When is it?

This course is available online or on request at our dedicated training centre close to Ocean Village Marina in Southampton.

Who is it for?

This course is designed for people who are about to take part in sailing or motor boating.

How much is it?

£149, including a course book and certificate.
