RYA Level 2 (dinghy)

Basic Skills level 2 means that you will be a more rounded and experienced sailor. Starting with learning the basic skills we will follow on with coaching sessions to show you how to improve your technique and get more out of your sailing experience in both double and single handed dinghies.

Course Structure

Basic sailing skills, tacking, gybing, all points of sailing, capsize recovery - 2 different methods and proving sailing techniques. a range of in depth theory topics including the five essentials, tides, weather, safety, clothing and use of equipment will be covered.
